Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 20, 2026
At iPerform, we value transparency and trust when handling your data. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have, including when you use our iOS app (Apple App Store), Android app (Google Play), and website. It is designed to comply with applicable requirements, including Apple App Store and Google Play policies, the TCR/A2P process for text messaging, the GDPR, and the CCPA/CPRA.
Our Commitment to Privacy
We are committed to protecting your personal information and your right to privacy. Specifically, we emphasize:
- Secure collection and storage of personal information.
- Strict control over the use and sharing of your data.
- Protection against unauthorized access or misuse.
Interpretation & Definitions
Words with capitalized initials have the meanings defined below. These definitions apply whether the terms appear in singular or plural.
- Account — a unique account created for you to access our Service.
- Company (“We”, “Us”, or “Our”) — refers to iPerform LLC.
- Cookies — small files placed on your device to track browsing activity.
- Country — refers to California, United States.
- Device — any digital device used to access our Service.
- Personal Data — any information that identifies, relates to, or can be linked to an individual.
- Service — the iPerform (and iPerform-powered) websites, iOS and Android apps, and related services.
- Usage Data — data collected automatically (e.g., IP address, device type, pages/screens visited).
Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of data. (These categories map to the Apple App Store “Privacy Details” and Google Play “Data Safety” disclosures for our apps.)
Identity & Contact Data you provide:
- Email address
- First and last name, username
- Phone number (if you provide it)
- Profile photo and any profile details you add
Account & Authentication Data. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and the basic profile information you authorize (such as name and email). With “Sign in with Apple,” you may choose Apple’s private email-relay service; we receive only the relay address.
Purchase & Subscription Data. Your membership/subscription status, plan, transaction identifiers, and history. Card details are entered directly into our payment processor — see “Payment Data.”
User Content. Content you submit — such as Fan Club comments, replies, and reports — and your likes/favorites. Comments and similar contributions may be visible to the artist and other members.
Usage & Device Data, collected automatically:
- IP address and approximate (coarse) location derived from it
- Device type, operating system, app version, and device identifiers
- Pages/screens visited, time spent, interactions, and diagnostics/crash data
Push Token. If you enable notifications, we collect a device push token to deliver them (see “Push Notifications”).
Payment Data. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe (and, where applicable, the Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not store full card numbers on our servers; card data is transmitted directly to PCI-DSS-compliant processors.
How We Use Your Information
We use Personal Data to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain our Service.
- Create and manage your Account and authenticate you.
- Process transactions, subscriptions, and entitlements, and sync your membership across web, iOS, and Android.
- Contact you via email, phone, or text about your account, transactions, and service updates.
- Send promotional updates and offers (where permitted, and which you may opt out of).
- Deliver push notifications you have enabled.
- Operate community features (e.g., Fan Club comments) and moderate content for safety.
- Analyze trends and usage to improve and secure our Service.
- Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues, and comply with law.
How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as described below:
- Service Providers / Processors — vendors who help us run the Service (see “Third-Party Services & SDKs” for the specific providers), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- The Artist/Creator — limited information necessary to deliver the fan-club experience you signed up for (e.g., your display name and the comments you post).
- App Stores & Payment Processors — Apple, Google, and Stripe, to process purchases and subscriptions you initiate.
- Legal & Safety — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of iPerform, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as a business asset.
- With Your Consent — for any other purpose disclosed to you at the time you provide it.
Third-Party Services & SDKs
We rely on the following categories of trusted third parties to operate the Service. Each processes data only as needed to perform its function, under its own privacy terms:
- Payments — Stripe (and the Apple App Store / Google Play for in-app purchases).
- Cloud hosting, storage & content delivery — Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Transactional & marketing email — Resend.
- Push notifications — OneSignal.
- Authentication — Apple (“Sign in with Apple”) and Google sign-in, when you choose them.
- Analytics & diagnostics — Google (e.g., Google Tag Manager / analytics) and the app platforms’ standard crash/diagnostics tooling.
Push Notifications
With your permission, we send push notifications (e.g., new music/video, live alerts, community replies, and membership reminders) via OneSignal and the Apple/Google push services, using a device push token. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings or in the app’s notification preferences. We honor your category opt-outs.
Analytics & Advertising (No Cross-App Tracking)
We use analytics to understand and improve how the Service is used and to keep it secure. We do not serve third-party advertising in the apps, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites for advertising purposes. Because we do not engage in such tracking, our apps do not present the Apple App Tracking Transparency prompt. If this ever changes, we will update this Policy and request your permission as required.
SMS / Text Messaging (A2P & TCR)
If you provide your phone number and opt in, we may send you transactional and/or promotional text messages (e.g., account alerts, new content notifications). Message frequency varies.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help.
- We do not sell or share your mobile opt-in information or consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Cookies & Tracking Technologies
On the web, we use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Service, and understand usage. You may set your browser to refuse cookies; however, some features may not function properly. Where required, we honor recognized opt-out and Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. Our mobile apps use the equivalent local storage and device identifiers rather than browser cookies.
Data Retention
We retain your Personal Data only as long as necessary to provide the Service, manage your account and subscription, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your Personal Data as described in “Account Deletion,” subject to limited retention required by law (e.g., tax/transaction records).
Account Deletion
You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time, directly from within the apps and on the web:
- In the iOS or Android app, or on the website: go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and follow the verification steps.
- Or email [email protected] with the subject “Delete my account,” from the email address on your account.
When you delete your account, we delete your profile and associated personal data (including your comments, likes, favorites, blocked-user list, notifications, and saved profile information) and revoke access. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes such as fraud prevention and financial record-keeping, in de-identified or limited form. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account; cancelling a store subscription is managed separately in your Apple/Google account.
Data Security
We implement strong administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International Data Transfers
We are based in the United States and process data there. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for such transfers.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights. To exercise any right, contact us using the details below or use the in-app controls; we will respond within the timeframe required by law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
All users may:
- Access, update, or correct your information.
- Delete your account and data (see “Account Deletion”).
- Opt out of marketing emails and texts at any time.
- Manage push notifications in device or app settings.
EEA/UK residents (GDPR) additionally have rights to: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, objection to processing, and to withdraw consent or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Our lawful bases include performance of our contract with you, your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, and compliance with legal obligations.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have rights to: know/access the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected; delete personal information; correct inaccurate information; and opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not use sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit. You may exercise these rights yourself or via an authorized agent.
Children’s Privacy
Our Service is not directed to, and is not intended for, children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data without verifiable parental consent. Our apps are rated accordingly on the App Store and Google Play. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Links to Other Websites
Our Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, notify you via email or a notice within the Service. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
